My name is Wade Toombs and I’m an optometrist from Breckenridge, Texas. We travelled to Belize July 29th and did a construction, vacation bible school, and eyeglass ministry. We worked in Burrell Boom, Ladyville, and San Pedro. We saw around 50 to 60 patients a day and fit about 100 pairs of glasses, 350 pairs of readers and some sun shades. Seeing the people at the bible study use what we were able to provide is heart warming. I can’t thanks Holland enough for the work and dedication he has blessed our ministry with. While we were there 3 baptisms were done. I have found out since then that an additional 6 have occurred! We made an impact on their lives and they did the same for us. We will be returning next year at about the same time. We will have everything in place thanks to KOM. We will look forward to working with Holland next time around. Again what a blessing this Christian man is! I hopefully will send some pictures soon.
