Thanks again for all your help on the trip. We took a group of 19 people. Our activities included Bible schools at 4 different churches, street evangelism, and eye clinics. As always, your equipment and software helped us to be more efficient and accurate when we were fitting people with glasses. This trip was a little more interesting than our previous trip because our glasses were confiscated by customs. Your letter and contacts helped us get them returned to us just in time. I would suggest that if you have any future groups going to the Dominican Republic, let them know that it would be wise to get a letter of approval from the government prior to leaving. My understanding is that it usually takes about 30 days to get it.
