My optometrist husband was skeptical about going on an optometric mission trip. He wondered how we would have the items necessary to accurately measure prescriptions and dispense glasses. He thought I was a little bit crazy to even attempt to do so in a foreign country with so many unknown factors.

We prayed to ask the Lord for help, and we believe that He sent us to Kendall Optometric Ministries. The one-day training was amazing.

They provided us with the tools and know-how to set up and run the clinic. Second only to the training was the immediate, personal help that we had throughout the whole process. We needed this "hand holding."
